The Central Jakarta Administration, Wednesday (6/26), conducted prime area arrangement monitoring in five urban villages of three sub-districts.
The progress runs well
Central Jakarta Secretary Administration's Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting, said the monitoring was conducted in Cempaka Putih Sub-district by three urban villages, and the rests were in Johar Baru and Menteng Sub-districts.
Area Arrangement on Jalan Lamandau III CompletedMonitoring in Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Bakwan said, was done on Jalan Inspeksi Rumah Pompa RT 07/05 Cempaka Putih Timur Urban Village. Then Jalan Cempaka Putih Barat 25 RT 05/12 Cempaka Putih Barat, and on Jalan Pramuka Sari III, RT 14/05 Rawasari Urban Village.
Next was in Johar Baru Sub-district at Gang 4 Jalan Rawa Tengah, RT 01/07 Galur Urban Village. Monitoring in Menteng Sub-district was run at Gang D Jalan Bonang Matraman Jaya RT 20/06 Pegangsaan Urban Village.
"The progress runs well with small correction," he said.
He added that this arrangement activity not only beautifies the area, but also improves the function of assets and vacant land so that it benefits the community.
He hopes that several arrangement locations that have large enough land can be developed into productive land that produces crops, such as nutritional ponds and urban farming.
"The arrangement also includes aspects of synergy with residents, so that it can become a space for social interaction," he added.
Meanwhile, Galur Urban Village Secretary, Nurpandi, stated the arrangement in the area includes a 200 meter residential road which has been poorly lit and dirty.
The arrangement work at the location, said Nurpandi, includes repairing channels, roads, making murals, vertical gardens and lighting.
"The arrangement work involving 10 PPSU personnel has been carried out since last April. Hopefully with this arrangement, residents will be more comfortable and feel more in love with their environment," he stated.
